The Minister of Youth and Sports Barrister Solomon Dalung seems ready
to head down a war path with the leadership of the Nigeria Football
Federation and its Technical Committee following in th fall out of
Nigeria’s failed bid to reach the 2017 Afcon.
Dalung
spoke in a press briefing on Friday where he disclosed he’d implement
‘radical policies’ and carry out far reaching reforms within football
and other sports.
The Minister also blamed the NFF of ‘misplaced priority’ citing this
as a factor behind most of the problems encountered by the FA.
On Tuesday, 5th April, the Minister will receive a delegation from
the NFF where the Technical Committee is expected to be drilled to
unearth their role in Nigeria’s Afcon 2017 qualifiers fiasco.
