INEC Staffs have been evacuated from Ubandawaki ward in Ilorin West local government over what eyewitness termed lack of security presence.
Sensing the danger to there lives without enough security presence, the INEC staffs refused to allow commencement of voting and then left the venue.

Ambassador Yahaya Saraki, the Campaign Director General (Kwara Central) to All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq was envisaging a landslide victory for the Party in today’s election.
Said this while Addressing Journalists on the sidelines of one of the polling units in Gambari, Ilorin, Seriki singled out INEC for commendation for the smoothness of the election process so far, just as he added that the Security Agencies are up and doing too and urged them not to relent in order to have violence free elections.

Security attention needed at Ologun jimba Polling unit 006 Magaji Ngeri Ward, Gegele, Ilorin. Some party agents were trying to engage in vote buying and all effort to stop them by opposition party was about resulting to violence.

The results as presented by the Collation Officer for Kolokuma-Opokuma LGA, Prof Agnes Malikili, are as follows:

Registered Voters---52780
Accredited Voters-- 22403
Total Valid Votes----20406
Rejected votes---944
Total votes cast--21350

The election was free and fair, No issue infact every individual respected and coordinate them selves well.

While other parties did not reach 50% in all there votes.
